About

I am Anna, an illustrator based in a city near Barcelona and, as almost every girl and boy, I drew when I was a child. In fact, I think I have never stopped doing so. One of my earliest memories is sitting at the dining room table by my mother as she taught me how to organize my crayon box. I remember her putting the pencils in the established order as I felt a mixture of excitement and well-being, while admiring the beauty and harmony that was being built, pencil by pencil, color by color. It was a small everyday moment that has stayed with me until today. Among other things because I love order.

But above all because I love everything I can create with colors.

Years later I studied textile design and, because I am a curious soul, I have been training myself in all those things I have found of interest along my way: embroidery design, art therapy, nutrition, yoga and personal development. All in all, my true passion remains very much connected to my childhood box of crayons and all the beauty I can illustrate with it. But I want you to know that this has not always been like this. For years I thought my art had no value whatsoever. I even believed that what I was doing was completely superfluous. But then it came a day where I had a conversation with one of those people who appear briefly in our lives but they impact you as nothing else has done before. She asked me:

“Can't you see that you are able to make people feel good? That, by drawing and creating, you make life more full of color and beauty?".

And something clicked inside me. And finally, I started to believe a little bit more in myself and in the things I created. And feeling how valuable this purpose was, I made a decision:

To make the world a more beautiful place through my Art.

Thank you for being here. Thanks for being a part of it
